What is clip.ee?

Clip.ee is a web based Archive for the storage and exchange of the videos, images and audio files. This is a great place to find or upload self-made material (image, video, audio file) for the others to use. All our clips can be downloaded after agreeing with the license agreement without user fee.

What means „without user fee“?

Our license agreement without user fee allows the buyer using the material (image, video, audio file) for his/her own projects on the basis of single license. You can read the full text about the license here.

How to find and buy the clips?

In order to find the clips, just enter a search word on the search field (or, to see all clips, leave the field empty). If any of the clips interests you, you can add it to your shopping cart by clicking the shopping cart icon. In order to finish the purchase, press the button „cash register“. After the purchase you will be able to download the material (image, video, audio file) from the page of My Orders.

How can I find out whether I can use the material I buy from clip.ee?

Information about each clip is beside or under the clip. There you can find the technical data: Duration, file extension, format, codex and frame frequency. Before the purchase check the information carefully and make sure you can work with this material. Our vide clips are all in HD format and the images are with different resolution depending on the necessary realisation. Audio material is the original creation recorded by MRL and cooperation partners of MRL.

Do you offer the conversion service of video format?

In the case the video format is not suitable for you, we convert it for you free. Please contact us separately by e-mail to clip@clip.ee.

How to sell the video materials or images in clip.ee?

This is simple. After the registration on the account of clip.ee you can begin the download of videos and images. If a vide clip or image has been sent, enter the „keywords“ and some relevant data (name, description, etc.) and determined price. Thereafter send it to the moderator to check. Moderator shall check the video and image materials before publishing it on the page of clip.ee. If it is not in compliance with our technical and quality standards, then we shall remove it from the system and inform you about the reason.

Who can sell the the material (videos, images) on clip.ee?

All possessors of copyrights having a quality material, including individuals, companies and organisations, may sell their materials (videos, images) in clip.ee.

How much do I earn? How and when can I get the money?

Sellers of the materials (videos, images in clip.ee are divided into 4 groups

Bronze (50%) to the seller and 50% to clip.ee

Silver (60%) to the seller and 40% to clip.ee

Gold (70%) to the seller and 30% to clip.ee

Vip (80%) to the seller and 20% to clip.ee

All depends on the competence and production and activeness of the sellers. Each achieved status is a stable value on the seller's account on our homepage.

Payments are made once a month straight on PayPal account. Payments are made by the 15^th date of each month from the sale revenue of the previous month (i.e. profit from sale is credited on the 15^th of July). 50 Euros is a minimum amount to be paid. In the case you have sold for a smaller amount, the amount shall be paid when it exceeds 50 Euros.

What is Paypal? How can I get the money electronically?

Paypal is a web based service allowing you to make and receive the monetary payments in a safe and fast manner by the Internet. We prefer this method to make payments. Please note that the service charges of Paypal are 2%, maximum 1 Euro for each payment made. This must be deducted from the whole amount. Thus, if your fee in March was 200 Euros and you choose PayPal to receive the payment, you shall have 199 Euros. You will see the payable amount on your account.

How long does the uploading of my videos take?

It depends on the size of your files and speed of the Internet connection. What higher is the quality of the video, the longer it will take.

What to do when I have no fast connection? What to do when I have a lot of materials and I am not willing to upload it for days and nights?

We accept also the video and image materials by ordinary mail on DVD or CD-Rom. Please see our contacts on the page clip.ee.

What is labelling?

Labelling is the process of adding the data such as name, description and keywords to your clip or photo. What better you describe your video or image by keywords, the better a potential buyer can find it.

How to decide how much does my video or photo cost?

The photos are divided into four sizes and prices according to the quality

Example:

Small                         1024x680        2 Credits

Medium                     1600x1063      5 Credits

Large                         2600x1727     10 Credits

Original size               4288x2848     15 Credits

One Credit = one Euro

You can determine the price of your video in the price range of 10-100 Euros.

Shall I retain my copyright?

Yes. You just use the webpage clip.ee as a market by keeping your materials visible to the advertising agencies. We ask only the commission fee for depositing on the basis of the free license.

Am I right to sell my videos and images also elsewhere?

Yes.
